Is nose re-shaping for me?
People usually choose nose re-shaping when thy are unhappy with the bridge and / or the tip of the nose. The surgeon will reshape the nose taking into account ALL your facial features. All our surgeons are fully experienced and qualified in this particular medical field.
Sometimes an internal deformity can affect your breathing. In most cases this can be rectified at the same time.

How long before I can see the result?
Once the plaster has been taken off, you will see a difference. However, the final result can sometimes take up to 6 months. This is very much the case of a patient needing patience.
The patient can expect a small degree of swelling for the first few weeks and start enjoying the new shape after this time.

When can I start my normal activities again?
Bending over and strenuous exercise should be avoided for the first few days. It is advisable that the client returns to work a week later.

Will there be any scars?
No. The procedure is carried out through the nostrils therefore leaving no external scarring.

Are there age limits?
The nose is fully developed by the mid-teens. At any age after that you may choose to enhance your appearance and increase your self-confidence.

Are there any risks?
There are inherent risks with Rhinoplasty as there are with any surgery. However, when a Rhinoplasty is performed by a qualified plastic surgeon, complications are rare and usually minor. The complications that may occur are a reaction to the anaesthesia, infection or nosebleeds. You should discuss any concern you may have with your surgeon before your operation is performed.

How will I feel after surgery?
There is usually little pain associated with Rhinoplasty, which surprises most patients. Mild analgesic is usually sufficient to deal with any discomfort you may experience.
You will generally be feeling fine although patients recover in different ways. You should expect to be bruised and swollen.
You plaster cast might make you feel a bit down. This is normal and you should try to be patient as it is removed after 7-10 days when the result will become apparent.
