Laser Resurfacing:
Most frequently asked questions
Laser resurfacing is one of the most commonly preformed cosmetic treatments
for both men and women. It corrects unwanted lines and wrinkles leaving
you with a much more younger and fresher look.
Is laser resurfacing for me?
The best candidate for laser resurfacing has widespread lines and wrinkles
probably caused by the sun or around the mouth caused by smoking. If your
skin is saggy with poor muscle tone a face lift will be more successful
and can be combined with laser for a better result.
How long does it take to recover?
Previous patients have returned to normality after 2-3 weeks. Women can
wear make up after this period.
What is your surgeons' experience?
All Continental Medical Services Ltd's surgeons are fully registered with
the General Medical Council and are NHS trained and approved. They operate
in fully registered private hospitals. Their qualifications can be viewed
on request at consultation.
Would I have any scars?
Laser vaporizes a controlled thickness of skin without spreading the damage
to surrounding and deeper tissues.
REMEMBER the new skin is delicate and MUST be treated with care to minimise
the possibility of scar formation.
Is the initial consultation free?
Yes, it is free of charge. Simply call 0870 043 3859
