Eye Lid Correction (Blepharoplasty):
Most frequently asked questions
Blepharoplasty is one of the most commonly performed cosmetic surgery
for both men and women. It corrects unwanted excess skin and fat from
both upper and lower lids, thus rejuvenating the eye area. It can be performed
together with face lift of laser resurfacing.
Is eye lid correction for me?
The typical patient is someone with bags under the eyes which give a permanently
tired or sad appearance. This can be caused by aging or it can simply
be a family inheritance. Since the eyes are the first thing we notice
on a person, having cosmetic surgery to correct this problem will brighten
up the all face and give you an overall rejuvenating appearance. There
is no age limit for this procedure and it is widely chosen by men and
women, men account for up to 40% of all patients. The hooding of the upper
eye lid and the wrinkle fatty pouches in the lower eye lid, can make the
face appear tired and weary which no amount of sleep or expensive creams
can correct.

under the lash line, there is no visible scarring.
How long does it take to recover?
Bruising and swelling varies from patient to patient. However, it can
last up to 2-3 weeks. You may wish to wear sun glasses for a couple of
weeks. You may expect to see the final result within 6 months.
Can I wear contact lenses?

so.
